The city of Laguna Niguel is located  in Orange County, California  halfway between San Diego and Los Angeles, and is bordered by the neighboring cities of Laguna Beach, Dana Point, and San Juan Capistrano. This city rests between the Pacific Ocean and the I-5 Freeway and the Toll Road is easily accessible. The unique name originates from the Spanish words “Laguna” meaning “lagoon” and “Nigueli,” the name of a previous village in the area. Out of the 14.72 square miles, the city of Laguna Niguel has set aside around one third of the city for open space, yet another feature that sets this city apart from others. This city boasts of two city parks and twenty-three neighborhood parks in addition to several other smaller parks and one dog park.

In Fall 2011, Laguna Niguel finished construction on the new City Hall. Soon, the city library also finish construction.

If you are looking  for coastal sea breezes coming through your windows, the feel of freshly mowed grass for your animals to run on, and parks with play equipment for your children to swing on, then Laguna Niguel may be the city for you.
