The city of Laguna Niguel is located in Orange County, California halfway between San Diego and Los Angeles, and is bordered by the neighboring cities of Laguna Beach, Dana Point, and San Juan Capistrano. The unique name originates from the Spanish words “Laguna” meaning “lagoon” and “Nigueli,” the name of a previous village in the area.
