Located in South Laguna, Three Arch Bay is a very special Laguna Beach neighborhood.  I lived there for 17 years and loved every minute.  Being a gate guarded community, it has a private beach and it’s own small bay.
You will only see crowds of people on the 4th of July, Memorial Day, and Labor Day [...]

In today’s OC Register, a Laguna Beach home was featured that recently sold for approximately $835,000. so I thought you might be curious to know what you can buy in that price range.  At the peak of the market in 2005/2006 one couldn’t buy a nice detached home for less than $1 million.  Today that [...]

Laguna Beach

Laguna Beach is a beach community and artist town located between Newport Beach and Dana Point on the Southern California coast.  It is about 50 miles south of Los Angeles and 80 miles north of San Diego.  With 7 miles of scenic coastline, Laguna Beach has more localized beaches than any other city on the California coast, offering treasure filled tide pools, and the perfect opportunities for scuba diving, surfing, sun bathing, or a peaceful sunset walk on the beach.  Laguna Beach is considered one of the most beautiful California coastal towns and coincidentally also has some of the most beautiful and luxurious real estate on the California coast.  Along the ocean side and amidst the cliffs and bluffs, you will find mansions, quaint cottages, and some of the most uniquely designed, luxury homes found in Southern California.

Laguna Beach has a huge array of art galleries, art spots, and an art museum that may be appreciated by artists and art lovers alike.  Visit the Sawdust Festival where you can listen to live music, take an art class, and watch artists creatively at work.  You can also experience Laguna Beach’s most famous art production, Pageant of the Masters, where classical and contemporary art works are masterfully recreated using live people, and beautifully presented as an entire production with a live orchestra, narration, sophisticated sets, and lighting.  Enjoy live theater at the Laguna Playhouse or visit The Pacific Marine Mammal Center, and experience the 19,000 acres of the coastal wilderness parks that surround Laguna Beach.  You will also find top class ocean front hotels and seaside resorts, posh shops, trendy boutiques, and great restaurants ranging from fine dining, to burgers, and sushi, all with the artistic flair that is unique to Laguna Beach.  The inspiring and exciting blend of natural beauty and entertainment surpasses all expectations of a beach city that makes the Laguna Beach experience very hard to beat.
