El Niño
About every two to five years a severe change happens in the ocean’s natural system and occurs in the Tropical Pacific. This effects the weather sometimes very severely. The El Niño is suppose to happen till the coming winter of 2009-2010. Southern California can be affected by the El Niño with potentially dangerous storms and sometimes there is flooding in Central America!
