Just a few days ago the green construction fencing came down and the much anticipated views on the bluff top appeared. Near Selva Road and Pacific Coast Highway, is the new Strand Vista Park. For years there has been just the public parking lot for the Strands beach where surfers would catch the waves.
Recently, development has occurred creating the private custom homes for the Headlands. Above these Dana Point luxury homes is the Strand Vista Park and pedestrian trails with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. For those unable to walk along the bluff or down to the beach using the stairs, a funicular tram has been installed making it fun and accessible to go to the sand.
The park and walking trails are just south of Niguel Shores, a gated community where one can find a single level Dana Point home priced in the $800,000’s or a larger ocean view home priced in the $1 million price range. A private beach parking lot is just one of the amenities that Niguel Shores has to offer, along with a community club house, swimming pool, and tennis courts.
